In Summer..
Trekking, water sports, climbing and mountain biking, or even just simple walks, offer fun and wellbeing in an extraordinary setting.
Day trips in the greenery of the natural parks, but also swimming, kayaking and rafting along the streams and lakes. The Val di Sole extends from Tonale Pass to the Val di Non and hosts the valleys of Peio and Rabbi which flow towards them from the north. The area is surrounded by the Brenta, Adamello, Presanella and Ortles-Cevedale mountain ranges, reaching the 3,500 m altitude of the glaciers. Most of the area is protected by the Adamello Brenta Natural Park and the Stelvio National Park.
The scenery is unique: majestic peaks, forests, streams, lakes, dairy farms and farmsteads in harmony with the environment. Water is the valleys' highlight: The river Noce runs along the valley bottom - a true paradise for canoeing, kayak and rafting fans and theatre of the world championships for these water sports. But the world mountain bike championship was also held here, therefore there are numerous very varied tracks for bikers including the Val di Sole cycle path that runs along the Noce, following ancient, rustic roads.
The Adamello and Brenta mountain ranges abound in Alpine Lakes (there are hundreds of them) and glaciers, offering endless excursion and crossing chances for everyone, beginners and experts alike.
